When my sister asked me to put together a website for her paintings, I went a little overboard. She explained to me that an artist’s website needs to be as simple and straightforward as possible, so as to not distract the user from the art.
Using this information, the goal was to compliment the art, not outshine it. I was able to completely revamp her website to allow it to be more user friendly, but still without too many bells and whistles.
The result was a seamless and efficient website that displays her work prominently and allows the users to view the journey at their own pace.
